2. General Information on Data Processing
We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable German data protection laws.
Legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR) in particular:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent (e.g. for cookies / analytics)
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. if you ask about collaborations)

3. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd.. According to Hostinger, data is processed on servers in data centers located in the European Union and other regions, depending on the selected hosting plan and technical requirements.
When you visit this website, the server automatically stores information in so-called log files, such as:
- IP address (short-term)
- Date and time of access
- Visited pages / files
- Referrer URL
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
These log files are processed to ensure the technical operation and security of the website (for example, to detect attacks or errors and prevent misuse).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation of the website).
Log files are typically deleted automatically after a short period (e.g. 7–30 days), unless a longer storage is necessary for evidence purposes (e.g. in case of security incidents).

5. Podlove (Podcast Hosting & Analytics)
We use Podlove Publisher and the Podlove Web Player to publish and embed podcast episodes on this website. Service provider is:
Podlove / Eric Teubert
Graffstr. 17
04179 Leipzig, Germany
When you access a page with an embedded Podlove player or download an episode, the following data may be processed:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Requested file / episode
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
If Podlove’s download statistics / analytics are activated, the system uses a request ID based on your IP address and user agent to recognise repeated accesses and count realistic download numbers. According to Podlove, IP-based request IDs are only stored for a short period (up to approx. 24–48 hours) and then salted / anonymised so that the original IP can no longer be reconstructed.
